I spent five hours thinking of a topic and this was the best I could come up with.

Welcome to the forum, Sweeney_Todd.

This forum is more manga based than anime based, by the way  :il_hahaha:

May I add, Sir Todd, that I approve heartily of your oldschool Sweeney Todd avatar, as opposed to I-love-him-but-he-can't-sing-and-helps-Tim-Burton-crush-dreams Johnny Depp.

I've never seen it.

Thank you. Most of my friends couldn't understand why I was opposed to Depp playing Todd.

Seriously, my friends are all, "Wow, I love the Sweeney Todd movie! :)"

And I'm like, "No. Sit down."  :lordilvryannoyed:

The recent Broadway run was pretty good, but I'm biased against that one, too. Mrs. Lovett will always be Angela Lansbury in my heart.

I used to own a tape of that original production with Angela Lansbury, but it disintegrated long ago, and I just can't find it on DVD anywhere.  We made the mistake of picking up this BBC production version, bit it was a drama, gods...

And frankly I didn't mind the Burton version so much, but it wasn't the Todd I remembered, and it just had that whole Burton-Goth touch which just gets on my nerves a bit.  Well, more than a bit, really.

She was completely random...i found her personality under her father slightly irritating though.

For a moment I thought you meant Purin (aka Jigglypuff), my favorite Pokémon. Well, except for Oddish.

Because then they wouldn't have had that little bit of perversion involving Shioji at the end :P

I pretty much forgot about Purin too.
