I redid the Lain. It's MUCH better I think.

I agree, now there's no hard outlines around the eyes anymore, the first was like hollow and colored inside, this is one plain color though...

So it's better yeah, good job mister  :D

You should try and make some original art though, you'll probably enjoy that much more  :il_hahaha:

Maybe, if you just made slight changes from the originals, or lok at several references and see if you can mix a bit of both into one... I mean, it's a start :D

Dude, art is all about copying.  Whether you copy directly by blatantly tracing, or just look at a thing for a while.

Don't think that any of the great artists of the past, or our time, were ever completely, and wholly original.

If it makes for a better composition, do it.

I still contend these drawings work better left unscanned. When you scan them they become fan drawings. When you take pictures of them they have the potential to become art.

And yes Poey, you remind me of ghey sometimes. Good stuff though. :e_wink:
