Just wanting to see where everybody was from.  I live down here in Louisiana, where there aren't very many people into anime unless you look really hard enough.  It would be pretty cool to meet new people if anybody happens to live nearby.  =D

I'm in a tiny little city in New Jersey, called Garfield.  It's only a "city", because it's so damn densely populated.  It's about 20 min. from New York City (or at least it should be, but it's never that quick, due to immense traffic).

Ames, Iowa.  It's a University town, so there is an active geek population here, including a great many anime/manga fans.  We have some decent shops - if they don't have something I want, they can usually order it.  Prevents me from having to rely on online stores so much.

im from australia, not far from sydney. about 1.5 hours away in a coastal town. But in sydney, anime lovers are far from uncommon.
