PlayStation Network breached
« on: April 26, 2011, 08:00:12 PM »
After close to a week, Sony finally comes clean (albeit too late, IMO). All your personal information may've been compromised.

Don't wait to find out for yourself! Err on the side of caution - Alert your credit card company immediately to freeze the card you have used @PSN.

What the folks at IGN are saying about it..

Thanks for the heads-up. Really wish Sony had been forthcoming about this from the get-go. :hdead:

It seems irresponsible on Sony's part to have been so quiet about this. It was reported today that 75,000,000 accounts were leaked - one of the largest recorded leaks ever. It's understandable to not jump the gun too quickly without a proper accessment of the hack. But nearly a whole week before alerting everyone?? C'mon Sony.... really!

I recieved the e-mail yesterday and read the article in the daily mail today about sony's online problems, bloody annoying, but can't be helped, hope they catch the bastard(s) who hacked the sony server.
