If I didn't suck at painting, I would buy all of those.  (even though I have a statue version of that Bunny-girl Haruhi)

I have all but hte bottom two on Pre-order.
I'm not interested in the "spacegirl" Yuki, and I already hade the Bunny Haruhi.
Two of them, in fact.

The second is standing by, waiting for someone who can't paint to want it.
get paid to push around air. That fact is both amazing and depressing.

I can't paint!  And I want it!  How much are you offering it for?

my last fig went for about US$80 I think, so that'd be a ballpark.
Extra stuff like high-gloss, pearlescents etc might add a little, depending on how much I end up using XD

And I've done it before, so it shouldn't be too hard.

PM me if you're interested

Also, this ships today:

Ah, I thought it would be something like that.  I'll have to pass for now then, I'd rather put that money towards the Special Edition DVDs.

Oh noes, they forgot to put the mole in those Mikuru pictures!  (at least I didn't see it...)

does this topic have to stay stuck at the top? nobody has said anything in years. in fact, is there need for both haruhi topics to be sticky?

^lol! Not at all. They've both been stickied for such a long time I was taking them for granted. At the time, I guess Haruhi was the best thing since sliced bread.

Well.. that 'bread' got realllly moldy this year..

Someday when I feel brave enough I'd like to try a build and paint of some sort of figure. My only experience comes from building plastic model kits of cars.

I'm sure it would be an interesting project. I just wouldn't want to spend a lot of money on one and have it turn into a failure.

Same here! They're coming out with a figure of Ulala from Space Channel 5 to paint and I'm crying over it since it's soooo neat but I'd turn it into a sloppy mess.

Saber for now, until I decide on something permanent.
