Wow. Great volume! Top 5 material, easily. Fucking doozy of a cliffhanger ending made me rage, though, since (if Amazon.ca is correct) we won't know what happens until next year.
This is the first book since the single-digits where Excel is, without a doubt, the central character. There are some really quotable lines in this one, especially from Watanabe. It also features perhaps the best pacing the series has ever seen; something important and exciting happens in every chapter. The art is greatly improved from #21, as well.
It's hard to explain, but reading this one felt almost... intoxicating, maybe? I have no idea why, but this particular volume made me feel somewhat reflective after and while I read it. Sounds weird, I know.
