How very bizarre, apparently I never posted here before. Well, time to rectify that.
In order of my personal favorites, from #1-10.
1: Excel Saga (the bulk of my owned volumes lies here and is the most fun I've had with any comic)
2: Blade of the Immortal (the artwork is beautiful, the story intriguing, and Manji is just so damn cool)
3: Berserk (another series I follow closely and I have been buying up later volumes)
4: Ghost in the Shell (the birth of the addiction and a magnificent story. Vastly preferred to any film or TV treatment)
5: Welcome to the NHK (the fifth series I follow. Very demented but very funny)
6: Hellsing (initially I didn't care for it, but I came to enjoy it as time went on. Thus far I have only read up through volume 8
7: Love Hina (not normally the romantic comedy sort, especially since manga/anime romantic comedies all seem very much alike, but its bizarre twist on the genre and general craziness rubbed off on me)
8: Trigun (It is different from the anime, but it didn't really stick with me as much but a worthy title nonetheless.
9: Rurouni Kenshin (I liked it, but it dragged on a lot and I stopped reading around volume 12, but may go back).
Now, I have read more, but I can't rank anything else I've read since I haven't found any of them terribly favorable. I read Battle Vixens up through a few volumes but that got old quick. Same for Tenjho Tenge, and Remote looked interesting but was boring and cliched. Started Battle Angel Alita but couldn't get into it, and have sampled a few more. I am considering Ah! My Goddess since I got into the anime and while it is good, I would like to see the manga treatment, even if it is a little aged.
