Hello all, my name is Mullon. I joined because I wanted someone to talk to about all the mysteries in the Excel Saga manga. So many ideas opne for speculation and no one to talk to about them. What's the big story behind (insert character here)? What do they know? Is this thing planned out beforehand or is Koshi Rikdo just sorta improvising as he goes along? I also wanted to have someone to talk to when the next volume comes out.

Hey all, im well and truly late. I've been a mega fan of Excel Saga since laughing my head off to some fan subbed episodes at a London anime get together in September 2001. I remember going nuts from then onwards until summer 2002, waiting so I could finally get the DVDs and watch the random crazy insaneness.

After the series ended I felt satisfied so I got into other animes. Then Viz got the manga underway and even though I bought volume 1, I sort of wasnt interested. Then the years went by and I slowly read volumes 2 to 5, still uninterested. (I know now that i wasnt bothered because it was too similar to the anime storyline). Then last year, reading volumes 5 to 10 I couldn't read enough of it, loving the way Rikudo Koshi took the series direction in, in exactly the way I originally wanted the anime to be.

Budget issues meant I didnt get any more issues for a while, but then about 3 months back I collected the rest, and here I am, finally caught up!! :e_cool:
