Go for it ;)
I'm going to do that right now. It's still available (surprisingly!)

Randamo! Oh my god..! That's incredible! Amazing!

How long did it take you from start to finish?
Any particular problems with the build, or was everything really good?

hehe, wow, I didn't expect such a response.  :e_pleased:

Umm, I started last year and almost finished her within 2-3 months but stopped and started around the end. I would spend a couple of hours every now and then in the week - very slow progress. I took pictures just yesterday.

She was very tiny with lots of pieces, 29 in total. She's not much bigger than 16cm. So she was tricky to put together. I had a bit of problems fitting the hands and the sword together. If you look closely in person it's obvious it's not a perfect fit there.

I've just started something new - Yowane Haku. A Vocaloid character. She's in Lord Il's avatar.  :ehail:

I'll come round when I finish something!

At only 16cm, that would make it close to the size of a Figma. Definitely small. The pic is deceptive, though.. it looks bigger than that.

That's a shame. Was this due to the parts being warped in some way?

I forgot to ask you earlier: What kind of paints do you use for the best results? Acrylics, oils? The paint work is just stunning. Lots of depth with the shading. I'm guessing you did some airbrush work on this, correct? It looks so good! I'm inspired to try building something at some point.

Yep, she's such a cute drunkard, isn't she?  :il_hahaha:
I see she even has a bottle of saki included. Looks like maybe half the contents have been drank already.... uh-oh.. :e_tongue:

I've never understood how or when Haku's origins had her become so well known as being a drunkard. This may've been a personality trait created on early Miku Miku Dance vids which stuck with her through the years.

Can't wait to see Haku completed. Take your time and have fun with it.

The hands were hard because one hand had a thumb that needed to be attached and the sword may have been a little bent. It was just hard to make sure everything fit perfectly.

I used oil paints. That's part of the reason it took so long. All handpainted.

I'll bring Haku round soon hopefully.

It really is.
Looks like it has many points of articulation for posability.

It's very articulate, and the stand holds her up for action poses quite well.  Also, the red box and meseta have stands to help make them look like they're floating as in PSO.

I can't believe I got 4 Excel Saga figures for just $5 on eBay. I thought they'd be bootlegs or something, but they seem fine to me. Though on some official photos they seem to have black stands? Well, whatever I still love them. Here is my collection now.
