The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

Just finished rewatching Dokuro-Chan.  God, I love that anime, it truly is the most F*ed up ever made, if only they'd bring it over.  And since it's so short, it should be a cheap buy, unless they are really cheap arse with how they dole out the whole 12 15 min episodes of the entire series - I mean, one disc would do.

did you know they made a season 2? They aired it on TV though, so until they release the DVDs, the subs are all censored. No mass gore :(

I'm counting the second season (which was only 4 eps long), and you want the uncensored versions that I've seen?  I've never even seen the censored ones.  Just go here, you'll need the DivX player, but it's free and I've never had trouble with it, no malware that I know of, and you can see it all, in its full gory glory:  http://www.stage6.com/videos/search:Dokuro+Chan

Oh-ho! I didn't know the uncensored episodes came out! Last I looked, they were still censored (this was awhile ago though).
Thanks for the link. Stage6 is a savior sometimes  :il_hahaha:

I actually rather like Stage6, higher resolution than YouTube, and it was also where I got to see all of Higurashi, both seasons.  Happy viewing, man.

Just saw Ah! My Goddess:  Fighting Wings, the little two-episode arc they made for the 20th anniversary of AMG (or OMG if your a manga devotee).  I liked it, and I'm hoping a third season won't be long, but it's kind of ironic that I decided to finally buy a volume of OMG the manga, and I picked up the volume with this very story arc in it.

I have to admit, sometimes I want something a little gentler in tone from my normal fare.

That's the same reason I've been watching Kanon.  It's pretty much a light-hearted soap opera, and that's nice sometimes.

Sweeney_Todd

Of fancy clients and good renown
And what if none of their souls were saved
They went to their maker impeccably shaved

Never seen fclc, or how ever it should be prenouced, but I have heard it is funny.

Poey

In English, fooly cooly. The Japanese characters actually say Furi Kuri so that's what the Japanese elitests say.

It's an interesting show. I love the Pillows so...
