News:

The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

"In the beginning the Universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

I'M Eh-chan!

I saw the first ep. when it was first being subbed or what not or right after it had finished being sub based on a recommendation...

I thought it was a little to bloody and creepy for me.  I didn't really like the way it made me feel when I was watching certain scenes so I stopped.

On another "note", I'm currently checking out Deathnote.  It's really good!

Poey

The whole thing isn't all senseless violence. The intro and the ending are the most violent parts. The story itself is pretty deep, I love the crap out of it - not to mention it has the best soundtrack I've ever heard in an anime.

Read Or Die.
I bought the DVD at Sakuracon watched it a couple days ago.

And yes, Elfen Lied kicks ass.
All these college professors teaching classes about Shakespeare, who was the 16th-century equivalent of a director of summer-blockbusters, makes me wonder if 500 years from now we'll have college courses on the subtle nuances of Michael Bay movies.

I just made a double bass arragement of Lilium and now I can play it. Geeze, I'm obsessed. I wish you guys could hear it, it sounds amazing. I'll try to record it sometime.

super llama

I love Lilium. It's right up there with Light Before We Land (Gunslinger Girl), Ready Steady Go (FMA) and the Read Or Die opening for favorite opening themes.

Oh, and Asterisk too (Bleach.)
