News:

The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

What's the last anime you've seen?

The plus side of Comedy Central buying Futurama is that we get new episodes out of the deal.  :)

Right now all AS is good for is Bleach, Family Guy and Futurama reruns. I used to love Aquateen Hunger Force but the new episodes suck compared to the old. I still like Robot Chicken though. Blood+ is okay, I tend to tune in and out on that one. I'm not touching the dubbed Naruto with a ten foot poll. Sadly CN is the only channel that shows anime where I am, no on demand for my family. :p *Wants the Anime Network so badly.*

I've been watching Nerima Daikon Brothers to death. I'm watching the first volume right now. If ADV isn't going to give us a dub soundtrack the least they can do is import the Japanese soundtracks. I love the music in this show.

Finished watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - twice.  I will definitely be looking for the DVDs as soon as some extra money comes my way - not a good month for splurging on my geek obsessions.

Been on a bit of an Anime jag the past week or so since I'm finally on what passes for a vacation for me before the Fall semester begins and I become unreasonably busy.  So far I have watched:

DearS:  The whole series, some episodes multiple times (episode 9.5 namely, just absolutely hilarious)
Chobits:  Still watching it, not as big a fan of it as I was DearS, even given their similarities.
Ah! My Goddess:  Enjoying it so much that I have already started picking up DVDs.
Vandread the Second Stage:  I own most of them, but the last two discs have been hard to find so I've been watching fansubs online until I can find them and finally buy them to complete the series.

I have absolutely no idea why so much of what I've been watching has been in the Romantic Comedy genre, but I've needed the laugh.

Excel Saga episode 26.  I've shown it to almost all of my friends, even some who don't like anime.  I've practically memorized the whole damn thing, I've watched it so much.

Yes, FMP:  TSR is definitely one I am looking to buy.  I loved the OVA with Captain Testerrossa, especially the Borscht scene, that was hilarious  :egood:

Yeah, I'm not too sure about Poni Pani Dash, I've seen it at the store for rent, and online fansubs, but I'm kinda "nyeeehhhh" *wobbles hand* about it.  And now that I will have slightly more money coming to me so long as I keep both my jobs this fall, I can buy more anime and manga.  The question is, what shall I go for, and I'm finding more to like now.  Seemed for a year or two there were only one or two animes that caught my eye enough to buy them.  And then a couple of oldies float to the surface again, like Outlaw Star.  I saw it a long time ago and saw two versions of the complete series - one normal, the other in thinpak, and they were only $30-$40, but I just don't know if I want to buy it.  Will I still like it as much as I did back in the 90s?  Not sure and can't find it for rent anywhere to see if I still like it.  And I'm still waiting for the rest of the Melancholy to come out here (kinda slow, might just go online for it since the stores here are real slow to pick it up for some reason), so I'm weighing my options.

From a dearth to an overabundance, so many choices...

Full Meatl Alchemist the conquerer of Shambala (it finally came yay)

Uncreativity

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni.

I hated it for the first 19 episodes or so, but my friend made me keep watching, and now I'm totally into it and addicted. I'm not sure if this means I would recommend it or not.  :e_confused:
