Thought I'd answer your question in this thread, randamonian. :e_pleased:

Kadokawa USA has in fact licensed Lucky Star and will be distributed by Bandai (the same folks who gave us The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya). This info was in a trailer included in volume 4 of Haruhi.
And just like Haruhi Suzumiya, they are using MySpace as a promo tool for the english release.

We may have to wait a little while yet before a release date is confirmed - This series is still fairly recent and still has that new car scent.... if you get my drift. So far it's only known that it'll be released sometime this year. Shouldn't be much longer before we know though.

i've only seen about 4 or 5 episodes worth of footage(not the episodes completely themseves) but it still grew on me. Konata rules! I might not watch it if it weren't for her - nay, she IS the show.

I haven't really been paying attention.  Personally in the UK you have to dig to find information regarding anime/manga, well in my experience anyway, i can't really talk about all the others on this board who come from the UK as well.

they DO have it out in Japan! i saw it on amazon - region 2. costs a bit. DON'T buy it, even if you're tempted. It won't have english subtitles!

theres a Lucky Star game coming out for the DS in a month orso called Shin Lucky Star, it'll be abit like wario ware and it's based on the manga rather then the anime (so it's 320,000% more Cuter  :e_pleased:)
