Did anyone else watch and enjoy this brilliant piece of cinema?  Definitely my favorite movie of the year, and one of the funniest comedies of all time, in my opinion.

Tell me what you thought of it, and stuff.

EDIT: http://youtube.com/watch?v=bNPGS7kZ8C4&mode=related&search=
The trailer. ^^

Lord Il

Still haven't seen it yet. Definately on my list though.

Shaun Of The Dead was great. I want to see what those guys have done with this latest flick.

I can assure you that you won't be disappointed.  Better than Shaun of the Dead, in my opinion, and I love both.

Off-topic: When do I become un-unemployed? :Econfused:

Lord Il

Better than SOTD, hmm? That's good to hear. I think they can only keep doing better with each production.

Glad they went this route to make an original movie rather than making some sort of sequel to SOTD. SOTD is a one of a kind comedic gem that should remain untouched.

I'd tell you, but.... what would be the fun in knowing?

'Sides, I'd have to kill you afterwards to ensure such secrets don't get out publicly... :evilex:

Uncreativity

Soske

Saw it, loved it, can't wait to buy it on HD-DVD.

MincyMatsu

I've seen clips from it, and it looked pretty good.  Do you know an easy way for an American like me to see the series?  The only DVD sets I can find are Region 2, and I don't really want to buy a region free DVD player.

Jinzaki

I've said this many times before and I stand by it.
Spaced is not funny.
Watch some good sitcoms, like Black Books.

Hot Fuzz wasn't bad and Shaun of the Dead was pretty good (7 out of 10 from me) but SOTD was horribly overrated. Like, everyone was saying it was the bestest film ever before I saw it and then it was a little disappointing to find it was nothing more than just a fairly good film. Same goes for Simon Pegg's writing/acting.
For the last, time, it's a panda...

there are websites out there that can give you a code to unlock the regions on your DVD player. some will try to charge you for this so keep looking for ones that are free of charge. also it isn't illegal
