The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

Bought my self dark void, sonic and friends all star racing and alien vs predator, my opinion so far is modern warfare 2 with predators and aliens, but a bit more enjoyable.

Mad Hatteress

Forgot to mention I picked up Muramasuma for the Wii yesterday. Before that I also picked up my pre-order for SMT: Strange Journey.

After beating Fragile I'd had enough of the Wii and started on Strange Journey. I decided to pick it up since it's not an SRPG like Devil Survivor, so I don't hate it. The military like setting is a little boring but it's still pretty good! Can't wait to see what happens!

I bought myself quantum of solace and sega rally for my pc, and download the microsoft game room thingy, not bad, but a pretty crap selection of retro stuff though

Bought myself alien vs predator for the pc, not bad

Bought myself kings bounty the armoured princess and finally at last lego starwars 2 for the pc, not bad and looks great on my laptop, the first game and lego game I can play at full video and sound quality.

Randamo

I may regret this, but i spent almost $100 on Harvest Moon SNES in PAL region. Horribly rare, i've really been wanting it. That, and the N64 version are the best harvest moon games. More friends of Mineral Town is probably the best gameboy game - but it takes forever for anything to happen. I don't know what's so great about Harvest Moon, it's addictive. but whatever you do, dont play it's a wonderful life, it'll ruin everything.

But the most wasteful money i've spent on a game is FFVII. I mean, i never played the game but i spend 80 at some place online because they seemed legit, but after 3 hrs or so the game cant load anymore. It took me almost a month to get there because i was very unmotivated about playing it, so they wont give me a refund and say to get it professionally cleaned, which is what they advertised doing on their site before i bought it. Then i buy a new copy and have 2 FFVII games... wasteful... So far i've had it for 4 months and have played less than 20 hours, i sure know how to pace myself

I have been DYING to play Quake 2 again.  Now I just need money to buy the ID super pack...
If you just want Quake 2, you could get it on ebay for about $10.

Have you tried Quake2max?

I used to play Q2max quite a bit when I upgraded my PC to an Athlon 1800XP in 2000. It still is a fun game, lots of action, no boring cinemas. Also the stage progression makes more sense, you feel like you are a lone commando on a mission, with the computer giving you updates from HQ.

If you do play again, drop me a PM, I would like to try co-op. Not many people play it nowadays...

Now all we need is some Excel Saga models -- "this alien planet is corrupt!"

Picked it up a while back, actually, but thanks!

I'm mad because it doesn't work anymore. The newest NVidia drivers have ruined it on my computer. ):

I like the way you think.

Quake 2 runs fine on my laptop but I am running a crappy nvidia go7600 with the latest drivers installed, as in don't have much choice, becasue when I bought this laptop a. it was second hand and b. the updates happen automatically which is good and bad to a point.  I know that there was a team rockect mod with voices for quake 3.  Any good sites for quake 4 mods or jedi academy mods anime preferably.

MincyMatsu

I bought Serious Sam: The Second Encounter over steam... Well, pre-ordered, but it'll be out in roughly two weeks from ow or something...

I also gifted my older brother a copy of Borderlands... Expensive, since i got it for him for full price...
Still cheaper than it is for retail over here though...
A true genius does not need boundaries such as 'common sense'

I quite like steam, downloading demos now and then.  Bought myself Jade empire and sonic riders.

Taste

Bought Heartgold last month. Took me 8 days to beat every gym leader and the elite four. This game felt a little too easy....oh well, off to training.
