Diamond! My starter was Piplup because Empoleon is like Il Palazzo's soul Pokemon. I named mine ChilPalazo and I like to dress him up and enter him into contests.

curretnly you can trade worldwide. which i think is pretty cool. and you can battle people that you have the friend code for over nintendo wifi [for freeeeee] so long as they are online. but the big kicker is that you can chat with the microphone, the sound quality isn't half bad, either.

The least time I played pokemon was crystal version. And I still haven't caught them all or battled everyone.

I only have red, blue, yellow and crystal. Oh and the first pokemon pinball. I play that one alot.
My brother and I went halfsies on the crystal when they had that deal at Kame-apart ( K-mart! ) to get a game by color with the game.  I got the game boy and he played the game first.  Crystal is my favorite because it's the only one I have that I can choose to be a girl. <3
