Yeah well, Shirow's best-before date ran out a long time ago, sadly... I'm a great fan of his older works, but he's not really interesting any more.

Man, I should have known that when I was in Japan. Seems to be at a much higher quality artwise than Ageha.
It's even got Furigana, that's highly uncommon for Shirow. But I guess it depends on the magazine.

I'd say it's more "doll style" than "realistic style", but I see what you mean.
Even if you aim for realistic, it may be better not to draw the lips and teeth in detail, since every pencil line makes everything so definite.
I like the hair, and the hand looks good too.
