It's true, I have a whole one video now!

Crackdown 2 is up there, and I'm currently working on a Bayonetta review.
Good stuff!
I'm interested in your Bayonetta review since I have it.
Been so busy lately, I didn't have much of a chance to check it out yet.
Nice review! Those graphics look suspiciously like Borderlands...
The Bayonetta review is now posted on my site. Enjoy. :ehail:
Megaman 10 review is up now.
its funny seeing you post the same thing on this forum.
Actually seeing your posts on psu forums reminds me that this forum exists once in awhile.
I still find it particularly funny that i bump into you on a phantasy star forum, as well as this forum that we've both been members of for quite some time.
Yes, it is always nice and amusing to know the same people on multiple forums. :elpleased:
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair review is up. :ehail:
Your rating of Bayonetta is about on par with what others have said.
Even before the game was released, I viewed it as a mere Devil May Cry clone. But as you've pointed out it's actually a little bit more than that.
Good work with the reviews so far. :ehail:
Decided to do Modern Warfare 2 this week as I needed both something to fill the gap between Castlevania and Lara Croft as well as a review of a game I don't like.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light review is now up.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is up. Next week is gonna be Metroid: Other M.
Metroid Other M review is up.

My nephew bought it this afternoon. I'll check out your review on it. Hopefully there won't be bad stuff for me to tell him about it. :pedronooo: heh..
Ouch, guess M is ass. Good review though, I'll look for more from you :ehail:.

Also, posted a review for Dead Rising 2 Case Zero.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep review is now up. Next week, I'll be the only reviewer NOT doing Halo Reach.

*whew!* Thank you! :il_hahaha:
Phantasy Star Portable 2 review is now up. Yes, another PSP game, and I still can't get the PSP's video out to be proper full screen. :e_annoyed:
This week I review Blade Kitten. And in hindsight I wish I would've picked something else. :lordilvryannoyed:

Haven't heard of this one until now.
Despite the issues, seeing this one play made me feel nostalgic for my 2D platform jumping days of yesteryear with the SNES and Sega Genesis. It looks nice.
But if it's only at 5 hours long........ nah.
This week is the new DLC for Borderlands, New Revolution.
I am tentatively dubbing October as "Games that better not suck or I'll be &@^$ing @^ed". The reason is that I've been looking forward to all these games.
Scheduled line-up (assuming Amazon's release date delivery...well...delivers) is:
10/8 - Castlevania: Lord of Shadows
10/15 - Arcania: Gothic 4
10/22 - Fallout New Vegas
10/29 - Fable III
If I have the time and money, I may also review:
Sonic 4 Episode 1
WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011
Vanquish
Super Meat Boy
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
Posted the Castlevania Lords of Shadow review. And Gothic 4 is likely not getting reviewed by me since the idiot publishers pushed it back to come out the same day as Fallout New Vegas, so I won't even have time to play it much less make a review.
After a slight delay due to Amazon.com, my Fallout New Vegas Review is finally up!
Fable III review is done. Turns out Lionhead doesn't think that their customers are very smart.
I see Molyneux is up to his old tricks again. Not that he ever stopped with them.

Also, Star Wars the Force Unleashed II review is up.
The Undergarden review is up.
This week I reviewed Create. Unlike last week's game, this is a puzzle game that actually has puzzles.
This week I reviewed the Xbox LIVE Arcade port of Crazy Taxi.
Unbound Saga this week. Rest of the month shall be old school RPGs, assuming older consoles record properly.
The first old school RPG for the month is Lunar 2 Eternal Blue.
Robotrek this week. I'd be shocked if anyone has even heard of this before.
Record of Lodoss War just in time for Christmas.
For the end of the year, I decided to do a Top 5 Games of the Year list.
This week is ilomilo.
Venetica this week. Taking next week off.

Worst aspect for me? Not on the PS3. But perhaps this is a good thing. Probably fooling myself but maybe PE 3rd Birthday on the PSP platform is a mere primer, a taste for something bigger and better around the corner. The first two games were very enjoyable as they were unique. A proper sequel to compliment them would make my day.

Saw the Collectors Edition of this at the local Best Buy today. Looked like a sweet package. Additional items include an artbook, a 'making of' DVD, and some sort of DLC for costumes. However, after seeing your review, I'm more convinced than ever that this special edition is made with the.. soul intention (pun intended) to help boast sales of a mediocre game. The creators may've thought, "We went below ours and the fans' projected expectations, so we'd best come up with a X percentage of special editions to make up for it in sales. Fans of Soul Calibur will eat it up like candy and we'll still be doing good in overall sales." Gotta wonder sometimes. O_o

I was wondering if you'd make a review of this one.
One of my nephews got this as soon as it hit the local EB Games store last Thursday. Apparently he got various character skins at the NIS America site and currently has Nepgear looking like Black Rock Shooter. Haven't seen the quality of these costumes yet.
I like the humor and colorful personalities in these Hyperdimension games which makes them fun and enjoyable to play. Compa's battle cries annoyed the hell out of me the first time and I've heard there's more of the same in this latest game. Oh well. lol!

Compa's battle cries are pretty much the same, but you don't need to have her in your party since you can easily buy a lot of healing items, especially if you use the free money DLC. Yes, there's free DLC that if you download all three will give you 3.1 million in game monnies.
That's kind of odd, but at least it's free. I hate it when games charge money for cheats. Dead Rising 2: Off The Record and Saints Row The Third were just shameless about that.

As a matter of fact, my nephew got all the available monnies even before he bought the game. lol! Interestingly enough, he told me today he used nearly all of it and has now resorted to selling items to get more.. But that's a welcome change to be able to sell stuff this time.
And I'm looking forward to ditching Compa as soon as I'm able to do so. :il_hahaha:
I was also able to check out his downloaded costume skins recently. Not bad! They looked better than I thought they would. What's really fun about this is just about anyone can create custom made outfits in Photoshop (or some other good photo editing program) and import them into the game to use. I'm really liking this level of customization. I'm hoping it won't be much longer until I can borrow this game. heh..

http://soskereviews.blogspot.com/2012/09/borderlands-2.html
Nice review..!
Although I gotta disagree with vehicles, I loathed them in the first game, although over the extensive time I played it, I got very used to it, still terrible though... And I find it amazingly improved in BL2, although I still dislike mouse controlled steering, it make sup for it with the much improved vehicle physics, which for once don't make a full stop for hitting a rock or invisible wall, or just about any surface like in the first game, you can actually ram into things and crash horribly or flip the car in all kinds of ways, which in BL1 just felt coo arcade'y, as if you had a predetermined path meant for vehicles, and anything else would make you go on a full stop, which happened alot, ALOOOOOT, and apart from that, I just feel I have more control in general, I can actually chase enemy bandit vehicles, and not to mention the weapons on them actually kill stuff, which makes them more effective in combat, especially compared to how terribly awful and useless vehicle weapons were...
I also like how ramming enemies won't immediately kill them anymore, it felt so cheap in the first game, although they patched it, since when BL2 just came out, enemies would ragdoll all over the place when getting hit, I guess that made things too easy as well... Now you just do quite a bit of damage to them, or kill them, I really liked it when they ragdolled though, it was hilarious finding tough enemies and just lobbing them over your runner, haha, overall it's a fantastic game, and like you said, the writing and story in general, and characters as well are just a massive improvement from the first game, where everything was more like a hollow shell that was never filled with enough personality..! The DLC's for BL1 helped adding some, but BL2 just takes it so much further, and adds completely new ones really well too..!
Ps
It's great to hear you're enjoying it as well..!
Maybe the vehicles control better on the PC then, I'm on the 360 version and they just don't turn when going faster than a snail's pace. I think I showed in the review, the camera turned almost 90 degrees but the car was still going straight. I like that the car gun damage was buffed, but it seems the reason it's easier to chase bandit vehicles is because their cars handle equally crappy, so they can't turn and maneuver either.

Any thoughts on the new Resident Evil 6?
Not too deeply, as I've never been a fan of the series. But from what I can gather based on random searching of the internet, it seems to be a mediocre game. It seems like it wants to be scary, but forgets that being scary requires it to actually try to be scary. But it does look like you can finally move and shoot at the same time. It looks like a decent game if you want a shooter, but not a good option if you want survival horror.

Ouch! Not sounding good at all.
Sounds as though the franchise is getting tired and is merely staying afloat only because of the hype. But it's guaranteed that Capcom will shamelessly milk it to death if they feel demand is great enough.
I
did enjoy Resident Evil back in the day when it was still fresh. And yes, even the horribly dubbed first game (I will never EVER get rid of that game just because of that hilariously done dialogue. A classic forever!) :il_hahaha:

I know it's been awhile, but here is Deadpool: http://soskereviews.blogspot.com/2013/06/deadpool.html
I've been curious about Deadpool since first hearing about it from Foggle at AR. Like your review, many people are saying it's merely a 'meh' sort of game. I won't be in a hurry to play this one.
As I said on AR, it's a fun game, but not a particularly great one. The last level sours the experience a lot; I would have loved it if not for that. Very funny though.
