I saw Sucker Punch yesterday despite the negative reviews.
Words of advice: Pay no attention to these negative reviews you see. So far this movie has been ridiculously underrated.
Approach this movie with an open mind and throw normalcy right out the window. If you can do that, you will love the ride this movie will take you on! :e_cool:

I saw it and thought it was great.
I'm still wanting to get a copy of this. The intitial Blu-ray release (with metal case) was a bit on the expensive side... something like 35 bucks.
I wasn't in a hurry to get it at the time, but now the price has finally gone down enough to feel better about getting it. In my opinion, a Blu-ray copy would be best for such a visually incredible movie.
I thought it was OK. Not bad, but not "Oh, wow!" exceptional, either.
The story was very interesting, and while the characters (and dialogue) weren't particularly complex, felt real enough. The visuals are amazing, but the overall direction and cinemetography felt (to me) like a very long, yet very interesting, television commercial (I'm talking camera angles, and the general layout/pacing/set-up of certain scenes).
I do not regret the time I spent watching it. It was a really fun, deeper-than-it-appears, movie.

I liked this film but I still found it rather bizzare.
