Option 2: PS3

Option 3: Wii

So the PS3 and Wii are soon to be coming out now, and in anticipation for it I would like to hear the opinions on all three consoles and what you would buy.
might be the best thing to get a Wii considering they're going to be about half of what a ps3 will cost.
'soon' for the US and Japan!
and i will be buying more than just the one
I currently own a 360 and plan on getting a Wii. The PS3 can **** *** **** the **** with ********** and ******* then the monkey ***** *** ****** ****** up the ****** *** ****** ***** ********** Barbra Striesand!
Wii first, for sure. Super Smash Bros.: Brawl makes a very compelling argument even if Capcom chars can't show up for copyright reasons. (STILL no Strider Hiryu or Hien? :x Meh; I've got the two Links for now so I'm good.) After that (assuming I'm ever that loaded) it's neck and neck between the PS3 or 360 depending on backward compatibility issues and whether I want Halo or the next-gen Ace Combat more... :?
Don't Forget! The 360 isn't FULLY backwards compatible so don't throw away that Xbox, but you can still play Grabbed By the Ghoulies on the 360! roflcopter
I think I'll get meself the Wii (and looking at the votes I'm not the only one  ) I think because SSBB or for the new Zelda game (that looks ********* Amazing)
Wii all the way for me, can't wait for launch day :D
360 seems alright but not really good enough to fork out the cash on, PS3... Dear god, don't even go there :P
(Besides, I can't afford to buy a PS3, let alone all the replacement PS3's I'd need :P )
they had a massive problem recently with the PS3 which meant its not coming until around march
I want a xbox 360 so i can play halo2 and the news games
-Shouta, The Haibane
Since I have no money, chances are I won't be getting any of them until they're all past obsoletion... But if I did? Probably the Wii first.
I voted PS3 because I'm hardcore like that. 8)
Probably gonna get the PS3 and the Wii, but the Wii comes first because my roommate and I don't have our Gamecube anymore.
I know the feeling Uncreativity my older bro took mine when he went back to plymouth (he's in the navy) so I will deffinately get the wii now
Back in Nebraska, we used to live with a guy who had a GC -and- Guitar Hero. Moving sucks sometimes.
...except for that "YAY, I'M OUT OF NEBRASKA" feeling. That part's pretty nice.

I got that feeling when we left Milton Keynes
I tend to be a creature of habit. Because of that reason, I might be inclined to continue on with Sony (I know. Shoot me now! ). However, when the PS3 becomes available I won't be buying it right away either. Not until the first price drop happens at least and a good variety of new games become available as well.
But to anyone who might diss the new Wii controller, or knows of someone who does (And yes, I've seen a lot of it at different message boards), please give it a chance. If executed properly, this new motion activated controller could become an important stepping stone to the future of gaming as we know it. In my opinion, the only thing that prevents Nintendo from being top dog in the home gaming biz is marketing their systems too much to a younger audience. Many don't want Nintendo to be known as a company to make "kiddy systems" anymore. The Wii could change that, BUT it's all about marketing it to a more broader audience and keep it on the same level as both Microsoft and Sony.

The best thing they ever did to dissacoiate Nintendo from the so called kiddy market was Resident Evil 4, then I didn't have to put up with friends' mocking names such as the purple lunchbox :P

Indeed. Don't forget Resident Evil Zero as well. To this day, I'm still disappointed that Zero didn't make it to PS2. I'm thinking that a lot of money was involved between Capcom and Nintendo to keep that exclusive (so far) to the Game Cube.
Imagine my delight when RE4 come out for PS2.
Nice Resident Evil edition, e-e!
Might be the first time I've seen it.
well i had a 360 over a month ago and after researching the faults with it in greater detail, I promptly sold it and I now have a PS3.Very good worth the investment.
I have a Wii, but at the moment I'm really wanting a substantial single player game. Eledees and Mario Strikers can keep me entertained for now, but I've had to turn to the PC for a real single player experience.
