I'm surprised that this thread hasn't already been made. >_> Anyway, what bands do you like the most? Refrain from flaming other people for their musical tastes, please.
Mine are:
1. That Handsome Devil
2. Galactic
3. Electric Six
4. Smoove & Turrell
5. A Certain Ratio
Narrowing it down to 5 bands is very difficult.

1: ACDC
2: Metallica (anything before St. Anger is fine)
3: Led Zepplin
4: Disturbed
5: Seven Dust (been a while since anything new, at least on the radio. Wonder if they are still together).
In no particular order, my top five are proooobably:
System of a Down
Muse
Soundgarden
Alice Cooper
Nine Inch Nails

Bone Thugs And Harmony -incredible and fast rhymes. and willingness to work with just about everyone. on their new album they use a large portion of classic southern rock song "wind blow" it's amazing.
Mindless Self Indulgence -i will give this band money until i or the band passes on.
The Cure -because i shit bats.
KMFDM -it is still awesome. evolution baby.
Gorillaz -check out the new EP, D-Sides. it is what you wanted in demon days.

2.SlipKnoT
3.KoRn
4.Wednesday13
5.Slayer
6.Misfits
In no particular preference:
Alice Cooper
KMFDM
Watchtower
Sodom
Toxik
I dunno, choosing just 5 is pretty hard. Hmm...
Machinae Supremacy
Helloween
Gamma Ray
Edguy
Tiamat
1. Porcupine Tree (Progressive Rock band from England. It's frontman Steven Wilson is a workaholic, having a few other bands/ projects he is involved with but this one is his most well-known. The only band I consider myself a "fan" off. Spent more money on these guys than any other band I listen to. But every Euro is worth it.)
2. dEUS (Belgian rock band that isn't well known outside Belgium/ The Netherlands, but are great and have a style I like.)
3. Muse (One of the bands that got me interested in music again, though they are going downhill now.)
4. The Delgados (Scottish Indie pop/ rock band that sadly got disbanded a few years ago.)
5. Air (French electronic/ easy listening music-making duo. They sing in English though with a French accent.)
Changed my first post to reflect my current top five bands. ;)

A mainstream comedy girl mostly, sure.
But nonetheless!
Don't you judge me with your good bands and their lack of silliness and/or folky overtones!
