The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

Just bought Recettear for 5 bucks on Steam today! :elhail: I've heard a lot of good things about it, so I'll probably get around to playing it as soon as I get some of my anime watch list done and get some of my Team Fortress addiction out of my system. (unless Steam puts up L4D2 for under 10 bucks... :il_hahaha:) Oh, and I added you, Poey ;-)

Finally got Team Fortress 2 (free of course, I was actually close to buying it). I think it's safe to say that this has filled the void that WOW made, and I don't know if that's a good thing.

Finished watching Madoka. I confess, episode ten brought me to tears... :elcry: Although I do think the ending wasn't all as epic as people claim it to be (I thought I was watching eva for a moment). Still, it was a good conclusion.

Bought Portal 2 this week. Funny and atmospheric as always.

I can see why people says it's easier than the first, but damn there have been some parts where the paths were so damn clandestine, yet so obvious. It gets to the point where I just shoot portals everywhere out of frustration. Barely on Chapter 8, going to hopefully finish it later today.

That americanized Miku on the website makes me want to go to the house of the guy who planned that and slap them. Why is it that companies feel the need to change something to appeal to Americans? If you kept true to the original anime CG in the commercial, why not keep the original drawing? Oh well...it's a minor thing I guess. Don't think these adverts will do Toyota any good, though. Their names is still sullied by the recalls. Plus Hatsune Miku is still a bit of an obscure pick.

Damn, and I spilled juice on my copy of volume 4. I better look for a replacement quick and possibly invest in some kind of special case for my other volumes.

GODDAMMIT. I should've pre-ordered when I had the chance. And since my refund AND my grant check are not coming until the end of this month, I'm going to have to wait... :elcry:

Scary stuff. Watching all those cars and houses getting engulfed by those waves really gave me the creeps, and that nuclear reactor issue is really unsettling. Asides from the obvious damage to property and human life, I hope things get better over there, soon.

I didn't really get MLP until after a few more views. It's a very nice show and I really adore the crazy awesome character designs...although I still get a few chuckles from the neighsayers (also known as my friends)

It's not displaying anything else asides from Eva and Biomega...perhaps it's a error

Edit: Holy mother of ass, why didn't I bother to look at the front page? Well, It could be that Viz ended up dropping Excel saga altogether...that, or they pushed it even further off to a later date.

Re-watched "K-On!". Gonna start on the second season soon. Typical "cute girls doing cute things" stuff, obviously. The musics ok, I guess. God, I sound so unenthusiastic about it, but I really do find it a bit amusing, it's just that I don't know how many more times I can tolerate this slice of life repetition...

Ugh....after a semester of finally piecing together my work and a few weeks of contemplation, I've decided not to apply to CalArts this year:

1.) My portfolio is very mediocre right now. I might have passed my portfolio class with an A, but everything in it seems so weak, not to mention the sketchbook I was working on for it got sidetracked due to my demanding English class so it's only half complete, and that would not look good for admissions.

2.) I derped on the due date. I thought the deadline was January 10th, but it turns out it's the 5th, and I haven't even figured out how I'm going to ship my work safely.

3.) Portfolio day is in 2 weeks and I would love some more input on my work now that I have more diverse work. The last portfolio day I went to I only brought my life drawing newsprint work, so not only was it a mess to handle and skim through, it left most of the college representatives wondering how I applied my skills from life drawing to my works, so I kind of screwed myself over in terms of actual advice from the colleges I was interested in (although RISD can go screw themselves after the dubious and stupid treatment I got from them)

4.) It's going to cost me around $110 all together to submit my application and ship in my work; and I would have to go 5 months without my work until they're done looking at it. So if I'm going to drop that much money, I'd rather submit a more refined portfolio than give the old college try on some half-assed presentation.

My teacher is going to be so pissed that I didn't even try to send it in. She kept telling me to just send it in because I might be selling myself short...but dammit, I want to look good! Not to mention that it's not my only choice of school...but damn, I'm still kind of feeling like I am screwing myself over a bit. :icon_confused:

On a lighter note: I wuv your Kneesock avatar, LordIl  :ehail:

26 dollars? With free shipping? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY! If only Nadeko was in this set....oh well. Shinobu and Araragi's adorable sisters are just as good. :D
