News:

The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

Eheh I think that Les Miserables will be my next reading, I'm discovering the classics, just finished in the last month Hemingway's "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and "The Count of Montecristo" by Dumas. :)

;D This came out very well... I can see the improvements in the dynamism of your drawings, I mean to say, the naturalness of the pose and the fact that I don't see a static charachter but a moving one, without artificiality.  :kabapu-1:

eheheh good work!

well I'm new here, and it took me a lot of time to read all the 19 pages of the thread and watch all your drawings, but I have to say that it was really worth it!  :) I enjoyed especially the close-ups, the eyes that you give to charachters are more than perfect, I expect to see them suddenly blinking on the monitor ;)

...And welcome to the Excel Saga board, Al Giordino. ^^

Thanks!!  :)

Here is a Ghost Bonus from the Italian version of Excel Saga DVDs:

http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=Hs-KYXvbfYQ

I can't find an English subbed version, I'll try to translate the topics.
It's a collection of scenes where the dubbers ran crazy and introduces swearwords in the dialogues. At 00:39, Il Palazzo says: "However, while on the one hand we are fighting for our ideals, on the other hand we are still scratching our balls"  ;D ...At 00:59, when Excel falls down, Hyatt tries to see the bottom of the shaft and, in her innocence, says: "But how the fuck is deep?"  or something like that, I'm not sure on the precision of this translation... my dictionary lacks in this kind of idiomatic expressions  ;)
In the last scene, named "The wise man says...", Excel, Hyatt and the two Ropponmatsu are singing "La società dei magnaccioni",  :icon_mrgreen: a Roman dialect song (here the full version  :icon_razz:) that Italian people use to sing everytime there is a great bunch; when Misaki recognizes them, she says, from the heights of her wisdom: "Who minds his own fucking business, lives one hundred years."  :icon_lol: ;D
