The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel

anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

I'm sure we all have our favorite manga and stuff, but who would you say are your favorite manga artists, based solely on their art style?

Mine would be:

-Kouta Hirano (Hellsing)
-Katsura Hoshino (D. Gray-man)
-Kubo Tite (Bleach, Zombie Powder)
-Tsutomu Nihei (Blame!)
-CLAMP (Too many to name)
All these college professors teaching classes about Shakespeare, who was the 16th-century equivalent of a director of summer-blockbusters, makes me wonder if 500 years from now we'll have college courses on the subtle nuances of Michael Bay movies.

1:  Hiroaki Samura, without a doubt it #1 - He is a classically trained artist and manga-ka and his work is undeniably beautiful.

2:  Rikdo Koshi - was there any question?

3:  Kentaro Miura - Berserk, the artwork appears dated, but it fits the genre very well.

4:  Kouta Hirano - Also an unusual art style, but again fitting for the style

I may like the Excel Saga manga but my favourite manga artist would probably be Kenichi Sonoda.  He drew Gunsmith Cats which was the first manga I ever read.

KiyoHiko Azuma. no question. Yotsuba& has the clearest grey tones you will find in any manga. proportions of buildings in the background are perfect, and the foregrounds are equally as good. human propotions are perfect too.
