The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

Been branching out into K-pop and K-drama these days, so I've been listening to the Personal Taste soundtrack and Kim Tae Woo's T-virus. Also Genki Sudo. Proud of myself because I actually bought all three of those CDs!

Wow, this thread is still going after all these years after I created it?!  Well, I shouldn't be surprised since people will never tire of listening to music.  Anyway, these past several months I've been listening to a lot of Susumu Hirasawa, P-Model, YMO, and Perfume.

Susumu Hirasawa - Phonon Belt

P-Model - Big Foot (live)

Deadman Wonderland Ending - Shiny Shiny by Nirgilis

Deadman Wonderland - a decidedly .. er... bloody, new anime series which I did enjoy (although kinda short).

Fans of the anime Eureka 7 should hear a distinctive similarity here as Nirgilis did an opening song for that series (Sakura).

FOGGLE!  =^D

Just when I was about to thank you for your sig, you change it...

Because of you, I have discovered Electric Six, and they are ROCKIN'!  Best band I've heard in years.

Their cover of 'The Rubberband Man' is so awesome!

Electric Six are AMAZING! Their cover of Rubberband Man is totally insane, I love it. They're coming to Austin in October; can't wait to go see them! :ehail:
My favorites are Devil Nights, Future Is In The Future, Lucifer Airlines, My Idea Of Fun, White Eyes, and Talking Turkey. Classic stuff! :elhail:

If you like Electric Six, I recommend you also check out That Handsome Devil. Their songs are equally impressive, diverse, and strange, but they're also a lot smarter and darker. :g_hail:

Some of my favorites by THD:
Sleep It Off
Charlie's Inferno
Mexico
Chicken Claw
Pills For Everything
Stockholm Syndrome
Twist The Knife

Saw Electric Six live on Saturday (and into Sunday, I suppose :e_pleased:)! They played a lot of my favorite songs, like Devil Nights, Dance Epidemic, Clusterfuck, Naked Pictures (Of Your Mother), and Down at McDonnelzzz. I also got a copy of their new album (which is awesome; I am in love with Psychic Visions and Interchangeable Knife) and a badass shirt that gets me weird looks around campus because no one here's heard of 'em. :il_hahaha:

I would just like to point out that Electric Six's cover of Ruberband Man is a really, really difficult song to play on Beat Hazard Ultra...  It has kicked my ass a few times already.

I'm listening to a lot more music because of that game.  Right now: Chemical Brothers.
After all these years, I just found out that their style is called Big Beat Electronica.

P.S.  I really dig some of the songs put out by Tay Zonday (if you've never seen the video for Chocolate Rain:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwTZ2xpQwpA).
Chocolate Rain is kind of an interesting song, but not great.  He's got a few others I like: This Is You; I Play Game; Runnin' From The Concrete...  He also did You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch.
I'd say he needs a little polish, but damn that's some voice.

Oh my god. This track and The Grave And The Constant... some of the best music I've ever heard.

Yo..!
Smells like dead fish here, let's throw it back into the lake (I know it won't revive the fish, but logic aside-)

So, I'm listening to
Booka Shade -  Karma Car

I know Booka shade form the Wipeout HD soundtrack, glad I came across them, alot of other great artists got known to me from that game too..!
Sadly I don't even own the game, I just know the soundtrack...

Hey still, the listening pleasure is still around..! This particular track is kinda calm and peaceful and slowly progressive, it's how I like most of my electronic music, which is my favorite genre of music..!

I dare anyone to reply back in this thread!!!  :il_hahaha:
A true genius does not need boundaries such as 'common sense'

^I'm listening to it right now. 8)

And that dead fish is twitching! well... It's floating... but twitching! Or is that just the water washing over it which makes it glisten in the sunlight? *squints* I can't tell.. :il_hahaha:

I dare someone else to post in this thread. I dare ye!!
