I Wonder about that. Is it that she's forgotten something? Excel does seem to be more prone to amnesia than a bad daytime soap opera character.

I'm pretty sure half the cast have selective amnesia and a good third have been brainwashed.

yeah, i think that with hyatt's amnesia. their amnesia [by il palazzo] is triggered when under attack or severe trauma in which they forget about themselves or what happened. when hayatt was captured, her amnesia was then triggered so no one would find out about ACROSS. thats why excel had that bout of amnesia when she got hit by that car. when she saw mince, it came back. and when hyatt saw il palazzo, her memory came back.
so i think excel's memory is starting to come back once she saw il palazzo, elgala and hyatt. oh, and herself in that magazine. but i think she's fighting it a little. they intimidate her, so she doesn't want to remember.

Also, I think Momochi doesn't feel comfortable around Shouji because he has pedophilic tendancies and his mother is too gropey.

As the son of two brilliant scientists, Shiouji probably was too busy studying at special advanced schools to even think about fooling around. Also, aside from his 'special interests', and occasional ego-driven displays, he comes off as a very serious individual who prefers to maintain a certain distance from others.

I agree with those who think that Momochi is just reacting normally to knowledge of the Professor's behavior. (And, similarly, she prefers to avoid Smother Mother Miwa - but will work with her if necessary.)
