Right now I am using this: http://www.sting.co.jp/knights/image_wall/knights_wall_002_l.jpg from Knights in the Nightmare.

It's 1600 x 1200, but I keep my monitor at 1024 x 768, and the picture full-size centered, so it's mostly just Maria, with the moon cut off in the middle and the logo completely hidden.

That's a sweet (physical) desktop there..! i love your table, wish mine was anything like that...

I am currently using my TV as PC monitor, so it's a nice big resolution \o/
Although, i sit in a funny position in order to use the mouse and keyboard...

My laptop has a desktop that looks kinda like this one, just in a 1600x900 resolution... I've never been too happy with overly colorful desktop images, that's just me, but i like it very simple or in black and white, maybe with few colors for contrast, or generally lightly colored stuff...

I am impressed by your desktop, at the moment all I have is a picture of the barmouth railway bridge (I know not the most exciting image and I still haven't figured out how to add a picture in main bit yet)
