I recently fed a yellowjacket wasp to a praying mantis...  The yellowjacket had an injured wing; it could not fly, and I thought that it would be a fun thing to do.

It was.

You sick, sick person, you. Just terrible. :e_tongue: (This coming from me who once threw salt at a slug crawling up a window screen. I regretted it though. What a nice blobby mess it made on the screen afterwards. Looked like a big pile of snot.) >_<

Had no idea that a preying mantis was so... carnivorous-like before. O.o

don't like slugs they always eat my vegatables, sometimes I go out in the middle of the night to catch them then feed them to the chickens. The best way though of getting rid of a slug is Beer, take a plastic cup bury it into the ground and then half fill it with beer, slugs love the smell of beer and will jump in but they won't be able to get out and they drown

Neither did I,
it climbed on the top of the hive,
caught some bees, ate out the middle-
threw the half's away and washed and cleaned itself off, 
laid down and went to sleep on the hive and then later vanishes to reappear the next day.... :elcry:
