She has my sympathy.  Braces suck.  Remind her that once finished, she'll have to wear a retainer for a good, long time.

I got them to close the diastema in my front two teeth.  After a few years, I stopped wearing the retainer, and am now back to being gap-toothed, which I don't mind any more.  It's a genetic inheritance from my grandmother, and screw the notion of an "ideal" physicality.

My youngest just got hers removed and she feels and looks wonderful. it was a long year& 1/2 though! Your sister will also persevere and it will be worth it!  :kabapu-1:

Never did like dentists. The lst one I went to said to my bro he needed braces and on his desk was a catalogue opened at a wide screen TV. Turned out my bro didn't even need braces neither

My sister's mouth is too small. She has already had 3 pulled but there are two that are pushed up into her gums. I should post pictures. She doesn't care if I call her jaws but she likes to bite me. Now I get kicked, punched and bit all the time. So I tickle her. I love to tickle her because she doesn't laugh. She does this weird screaming giggle gasping thing. Then she kicks me in the face. So I make to poke her in the chest so she freaks out and runs away. She's mad that she can't eat doritos or drink mountain dew.

Urgh, i bloody hated having braces.  It felt like someone was always pushing on my teeth.  Luckily though i managed to get mine off the NHS so my parents didn't have to pay for them.

I probably could have used some, I have a slight underbite, but if it came to this or braces, I'm good as I am :).  Getting crap out of your braces when you eat must be bloiting murder.
