Top Three

#1 Excel.  Because she's number two, and she tries harder.  The reason we're here.  This is the glorious, long, strange saga of Excel, after all.

#2 Hayatt.  Number two's number two.  The innocence/actual perception that is the paradox of Hayatt is as sweet, as it is baffling.  You're never quite sure about Hayatt, until she spews blood.

#3 Il Palazzo.  May he be the most mysterious mystery of them all, or merely a master of misdirection?

My top three favourite characters have got to be:

1. Menchi (Who couldn't love Menchi? She's too cute!)
2. Excel (Dying 5 times in the first episode of the anime is a feat yet to be broken by any other anime character)
3. Misaki Matsuya (Definitely a favourite after seeing her slap Iwata into the vending machine on episode 6 of the anime.)

i have decided on my 3 after abstaining from answering.

1. Excel: she is the awesomeness, i mean, what would 'excel saga' be like without her, it would just be 'saga' and i mean, what kind of story has a name like 'saga'?

2. Shioji: why not?

3. Elgala: i think i've changed my hate into some kind of liking thing.

i do wish i could add more so if no-one minds, here are: wantanabe, misaki, iwata, ropponmatsu 2(i reckon she's the most good looking and weirdest character. at some point i thinks shes a bit more experienced than wantanabe, if you know what im sayin), miwa [at points, that movie she made, with the wassssupp? - hilarious].

I do like the Puchus, but I have been wondering since they didn't appear in the manga, did the orignal author of the book think of them or was the director of the anime show?
