Quote from: Pamplemousse on August 23, 2009, 09:58:11 AMIt's like Bill really wanted to go sightseeing or something.
Yeah, tell me about it... Bill has been a bit more friendly than we would've wanted. But not TOO friendly as I'm glad to say he didn't make landfall here and was more bark than bite. This is a welcome contrast to Hurricane Juan five years ago which literally changed the face of our parks and forests forever - I never want to see a bad one like that again. X_x

As of right now, rain has stopped and winds have lightened up a lot from this afternoon. Things are good in my neck o' the woods. ^_^

And thank you for the kind words, Pamplemousse. It's always a bit of a worry when such huge weather systems like these decide to come for a visit because of the unpredictability.

Another hurricane safely averted! :ehail:

Windy and wet, at least it's only wet here
Bill will likely burn out before it even crosses the Atlantic but I wouldn't doubt if it would affect weather in the UK to some tiny degree. This was a very big system.

I live! I guess? >>;

I got a haircut but it's a bit too short to pull my hair up like how I'm used too. It's too hot to leave it down though.

Gaia needs to stop sucking me and making me forget about you guys!

exckilla

^ Damn, the pink bunny's back,

I thought you were cheating on us with Facebook and Twitter. :e_tongue:

exckilla

Probably was, you can never trust a bunny especially a pink one

Her Excellency The Pink Bunny

Not facebook so much anymore, no matter how many mini games my aunts try to get me to join. I have too much fun stalking people on twitter though.

I'm going to try harder to post more often instead of just lurking all the time!

Pamplemousse

:e_embarassed: Those bunnies are quite adorable... greetings to their user!
Also, I get way too much happiness out of using the custom smileys. If only there were a Miwa, though.
I, Pamplemousse, do not believe in alligators.

exckilla

Not another bunny lover, I will admit they look cute but they taste better

Mad Hatteress

Ehehe... There's a picture I gotta take if you guys don't like bunnies...

BTW, kind of an odd question, but do any of you believe in ghosts? I believe in the possibility but I'd like to see everything done to try and debunk a supposed haunting. There was one really weird thing that happened to be at the hospital that I'm still trying to find an explanation for:

We used to have these orange carts we brought the trays up in that the #10 position would have to wash every night. I was in the kitchen all by myself because we'd gotten behind and the mean 'ol #7 decided to just leave without helping me. I had washed the final cart out in the back and was going to wheel it out when I suddenly felt which seemed like a wet hand doing something between a slap and a tap on my face (I honest to god thought I felt fingers!). Needless to say I was pretty freaked out and got out of there as fast as I could. This is actually the first time I've shared what happened because I was afraid people would laugh or think I was nuts.

...What's really creepy is that the Dietary Department is right across from the morgue, which is right by our locker rooms.

You must be nuts  :il_hahaha:

xD

Nah, i like to believe in logic and things that are physically possible... So while i don't directly believe in ghosts and such, i love the whole idea and stories of occult stuff... I love the movie Poltergeist and The Shining and such... <3

I honestly wish ghosts exist, how cool would that be !!! :elhail:
A true genius does not need boundaries such as 'common sense'

I had a ghost incident happen to me when I was only around seven years old. It's something I'll always remember for the rest of my life. And as young as I was, there is no way it was my imagination playing tricks on me.

Because of that one incident, I believe it's certainly possible. eee-yup!

Why do you say things you know will hurt me?

It probably involved his uncle and a fire hose...

Dude... For some reason that reminded me of what my buddy says his uncle used to say to him when he was little whenever they got near a McDonalds. Apparently he would claim that Ronald wanted to molest him and would point at the windows and say "Did you see him!? He was looking at you!"

Her Excellency The Pink Bunny

I believe in ghosts. There was an old man that died in my house 80 years ago. He likes to sit on my bed while I sleep. He's creepy but he protects from bad spirits that my sister attracts. :hdead:
