It's like Bill really wanted to go sightseeing or something.

Yeah, tell me about it... Bill has been a bit more friendly than we would've wanted. But not TOO friendly as I'm glad to say he didn't make landfall here and was more bark than bite. This is a welcome contrast to Hurricane Juan five years ago which literally changed the face of our parks and forests forever - I never want to see a bad one like that again. X_x

As of right now, rain has stopped and winds have lightened up a lot from this afternoon. Things are good in my neck o' the woods. ^_^

And thank you for the kind words, Pamplemousse. It's always a bit of a worry when such huge weather systems like these decide to come for a visit because of the unpredictability.

Bill will likely burn out before it even crosses the Atlantic but I wouldn't doubt if it would affect weather in the UK to some tiny degree. This was a very big system.

Not facebook so much anymore, no matter how many mini games my aunts try to get me to join. I have too much fun stalking people on twitter though.

BTW, kind of an odd question, but do any of you believe in ghosts? I believe in the possibility but I'd like to see everything done to try and debunk a supposed haunting. There was one really weird thing that happened to be at the hospital that I'm still trying to find an explanation for:

We used to have these orange carts we brought the trays up in that the #10 position would have to wash every night. I was in the kitchen all by myself because we'd gotten behind and the mean 'ol #7 decided to just leave without helping me. I had washed the final cart out in the back and was going to wheel it out when I suddenly felt which seemed like a wet hand doing something between a slap and a tap on my face (I honest to god thought I felt fingers!). Needless to say I was pretty freaked out and got out of there as fast as I could. This is actually the first time I've shared what happened because I was afraid people would laugh or think I was nuts.

...What's really creepy is that the Dietary Department is right across from the morgue, which is right by our locker rooms.

Nah, i like to believe in logic and things that are physically possible... So while i don't directly believe in ghosts and such, i love the whole idea and stories of occult stuff... I love the movie Poltergeist and The Shining and such... <3

I had a ghost incident happen to me when I was only around seven years old. It's something I'll always remember for the rest of my life. And as young as I was, there is no way it was my imagination playing tricks on me.

Because of that one incident, I believe it's certainly possible. eee-yup!

I believe in ghosts. There was an old man that died in my house 80 years ago. He likes to sit on my bed while I sleep. He's creepy but he protects from bad spirits that my sister attracts. :hdead:
