Release is drawing nearer and nearer with each passing day! I'd like to take this opportunity to share a small piece of our hard work with you all. It is spoiler-free in a similar sense to the pages that Mr. Carl Horn posts.

As weird as it may be, this seems relevant, yet at the same time it's a completely off demonstration of what we're actually doing with it... :D

The pages themselves rarely have anything edited in them art wise...
But, yeah... finally getting close to finished, i believe there are only 2 chapters left, the last one which will be a collaboration between Foggle and me, for increased lulz effects...

This is so much better than the original version (which I am embarrassed of) that I can hardly believe it's a remake!

Stick with it 'cuz it gets a LOT better as it goes along. This was a long time coming, but not a long time in the making. If I remember correctly, Missions 1 and 6 were finished in 2009 and Missions 2, 3, 7, and 8 were finished in 2010. I spent the last two weeks working fairly diligently on Missions 4, 5, and 9, as well as the Bonus one. If you read the first one when I posted it a long time ago, you should read it again, because I changed it to make it funnier and less stupid!

You might want to catch up with the first chapter of the classic Excel-Lency re-write (or the whole thing, if you want!) before reading this. Why? I'm not tellin! Keep in mind that this thing as a whole is far, far wittier than my bit on that ol' one.

The Bonus Mission is... well... remember this? YEAH, BABY!

I can't believe you did THIRD Foggle, I totally didn't expect you to do it. After all, it was just a short story I pushed onto you 2 years or so ago. I'm so touched. And belive it or not, you made that story make sense.

Honestly, I don't understand how his doujinshi's make sense even when you'd read it in Japanese. I guess Doujinshi isn't supposed to make sense. They have another.... use don't they.....

This manga makes me wonder if Wantanabe's sadistic personality was predestined by Rikdo. Maybe Wantanabe is meant to be a darker person. But i wonder how things will go when he meets Hyatt again.

Indeed, Watanabe is a bit of a sadistic asshole in Daitenzin. The Excel Saga version is much more likable (sympathetic, even) until volume 15, at which point he seems to become a parody of his Daitenzin self.

Iwata ain't such a great guy here either. I think he's my favorite Excel Saga character overall, though.

Misaki seems like a very generic character in Daitenzin. Knowing Rikudou, I'm honestly surprised she never gets naked anywhere in the book (barring the title page).

Sumiyoshi appears to be roughly the same, though I'm not sure if he's accented in the original version. Kabapu is Kabapu and Il Palazzo is Il Palazzo, though they aren't in it very much.

I think Excel acts more like she does in the anime than in the manga in Daitenzin. Maybe that's just me.

Not sure who that other character is. A prototype for Ropponmatsu 2, I reckon.

I'm sure you can tell, but Shiouji and Momochi are not actually in Daitenzin. I just thought it would be fun to have Kabapu talk to them on the phone. :)
