The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

That green haired girl (Kanze?) is surely a very unique character o_o ...

A bit of info...

Starting in 1999, this is the story of the high school life of three friends. Yukari is an ambitious girl who loves money. Takao is a big, kind of timid guy who is also an expert at karate. Kanze has the most spectacular talent of all: she can recreate any sound she hears perfectly, whether it's someone's voice or a musical instrument. The three of them spend their high school days solving (or creating) mysteries, taking on cases at the request of other students. Whether they're dealing with kidnappings or school myths, their high school life is anything but dull!

Cool to finally find out the characters' names and the general storyline! :elhail:

Sounds less interesting than Excel Saga, but it'll probably get pretty damn surreal and increasingly brilliant later on, knowing Rikudou. I really hope this gets picked up for localization, but I won't hold my breath.

<---  Isn't that the... err... "Kabapu-suit"?

Are any of Rikdo's other mangas translated in English besides Excel Saga?

And are there seriously not even translation notes of the last few volumes of Excel Saga online? : [

Volume 1 of Mebius Gear is all that I'm aware of. He didn't write it, though, and it's not very good.

I don't think so. :e_crying:

That's all then?

It's strange his work is so under appreciated, it's very good.

Randomness

Glanced through the vol 1. It looks interesting. Much more fanservicey than Excel Saga. Couldn't really follow what was going on most of the time.

I'd probably buy at least the first volume if Viz was doing the localization. A good translation makes all the difference especially with Rikdo's work where one of the strong points is the writing.

Duomaxwe

Rikdo's writing was his best quality.

I was bored...

And now he's launching another new manga at the end of the month! This one will be in Young King OURs, like Excel Saga.

Quoteit is a gag comedy manga in an absurdist style.
I am SHOCKED, sir, SHOCKED!

Also, those characters look suspiciously like Miwa and Umi, but younger...
