The Kabapu Appreciation Thread!

I'm not sure if many of you will agree with me, but IMO Kabapu is by far one of the funniest characters in the entire series. Alas, it seems he has gone unloved by much of the fanbase despite his awesome hair and mustache. Truly, I feel that -- deep down -- we all strive to have hair as excellent as Kabapu's one day. :kabapu-1:

I love how that was the back cover art for volume 14. I'm sure it made tons more people buy it than normally would have. :il_hahaha:

I've mentioned this before but the funniest Kab moment for me goes back to volume 2 when he did his spectacular intro in order to impress his (then) new recruits. I still remember it making me laugh myself sore. This scene was also well done in the anime as well.

I've mentioned this before but the funniest Kab moment for me goes back to volume 2 when he did his spectacular intro in order to impress his (then) new recruits. I still remember it making me laugh myself sore. This scene was also well done in the anime as well.

Pretty much one of the funniest pieces of slapstick comedy in anything. Probably the biggest laugh I got from the first three volumes aside from Dr. Iwata's first appearance. ;)

Anyways... I like Kabapu very much. He's such an evil and corrupt, yet still amazingly funny character that I just can't hate him.
His fall from grace, then his ascension back into being a corrupt and evil old geezer is one of my favorite storylines.

I had the most horrifying dream last night. I was back in high school, and everyone I knew had the same hair and mustache as Kabapu. Needless to say, I'm now scarred for life. :e_crying:
