but no company has picked up the rights to it, which is both a shame and awesome at the same time,
as this manga is in it 18 volume and still what would be main characters are killed then replaced and killed at the drop of a hat.in a series that has violence, sex, aliens, morals, and a sense of enigma to it.Its tailors to all anime and manga fans.

dont of course confuse this with the anime, the manga is better in every aspect.

if you want a good webiste to download gantz (and other manga).. go to stoptazmo.com, a website dedicated to badmouthing narutofan.com (i have no idea why). The downloads are slow, but they have every chapter.

right, i've been reading this pretty intensively lately (16 volumes in like 2 days) and frankly it rocks, very gripping but also makes me laugh a lot.

I heard of Gantz but I never saw it. The anime is popular though I haven't seen it, so I am also surprised that nobody has grabbed it. Dark Horse Comics takes my vote who is going to grab it, they just seem to do more adult manga than anyone like the original Ghost in the Shell or..... well that's all I can think of :lol:  ADV could easily publish it too.

I torrented the first 15 volumes and then got the rest from all over the web... I haven't seen the anime but the manga's pretty damned interesting...

I confess, though, I cheer every time a female character dies, 'cause I bitterly hate them all.

Don't be that way. Tomb Raider girl was alright...not useless like most of them.

Ha, I didn't like the Tomb Raider girl on principle. And Kei was just useless and whiny and existed solely to be naked most of the time, and the idol girl was flat-out annoying. The only girl I don't hate was Tae, and I think that's just because she's not as blatantly fanservicey as the rest. Don't get me wrong - I don't mind fanservice (obviously, I wouldn't be here if I did XD) - but it's just gratuitous and kind of annoying. (And yes, the violence is just as blatant, but I like violence.)

...I still love Gantz. It's got that kind of bloodbath-yet-still-kinda-sorta-psychological thing going on. And that's pretty cool.
