Well I wasn't sure if there was a Thread about this because otherwise it is gone now but...

OH MY GOD!

Was the seemingly random shouts throughout my school lately as each of my friends laid their eyes upon the latest volumes 6 and 7.  TWISTS! Plot twists every page you turn! And it is not for those who just like pretty pictures because this thing is wordy, it takes about double the amount of time it usually takes to read a "regular" manga. I wouldn't even dare reveal any spoilers because the manga just has to be read!

By far the second Greatest of all mangas, it comes right after Excel Saga

Okay guys. I am reviving thsi old thread. Now, Death Note vol 11 came out recently. What do yall think?

I love Death note but this volume didn't do it for me. Basically its like the whole volume is setting up for the final volume of the series. Near is making crazy assumptions and also there was this part in the story that I didn't like. If you look carefully when Near is looking at all those video cameras he sees Light's successor (forgot his name but it starts with an M) Now light's successor who is x-kira is talking at the old Kira's Kingdom show where he says something along the lines of "I need your guidance Kira"    However in the previous volume when Light's successor says this he actually says "We need your guidance Kira"    ...... I don't like to bitch and moan but I really didn't like that.

What I did like was the banter between Misa and that anchor lady chick. YAY MISA.

I'm loving death note.  Is it just me or does Misa seem exactly like Excel.  Both completely loyal/in love with a megalomaniac man who wants to fix a corrupt world, both can be air headed while occasionally very resourceful, and when Misa is older they even look the same.

that was matt playing video games. he's in cahoots with mello. honestly i hate mello.


but matt is pretty cool, he is third in line to be the new L. and that's mikami you are thinking of. and it is gearing up for the final volume. and the stuff that happens there... if i utter more than a sylable it could ruin it.

It takes me forever to read one chapter and I'm on the last 15 chapters!
I want to get done with this manga already!
Part of me wants to get a tire iron and beat Light until he's a good boy!
Took my 6 days to read chapter 92!
Makes me want to blow stuff up because it's so frustration!
And thanks to the manga I can't watch to anime, it's so horrible!

I'm going to try to watch them again after I've read all of Death Note. But I'll most likely wait a month or so.
