Lucky Star is the only animé that I never skip the opening credits, the ending credits, nor the next episode previews.

I absolutely love 'Motteke! Saolir-fuku'.

In fact, it was the cause of my TV crapping out.  There's been a loose connection in it, and usually a good smack to the side will get the picture back.  Well, I cranked the volume all the way up, and the vibrations caused it to fail- permanently.

So I got the first two English-release DVDs. I must say, I'm hooked. ^_^ It's cute and fun and definitely reminds me of Azumanga Daioh, but not at all the same show, which is nice. Hooray for Lucky Star!

So they started releasing it in English, means i have another 1-2 year wait then before they decide to convert it to region two

Okay, Konata with a Khopesh, I find that funny, if for no other reason :P

That's the thing about OVAs: Since they're not necessarily made to air for television, the production team is not limited to having episodes run at a pre-determined amount of time (running to fill a half hour time slot, including commercial time).
I don't own many OVAs, but each volume I have of Hellsing Ultimate averages 50 minutes each.

Guess we'll know when the time comes.

And heck, anything can happen in an OVA. Maybe they'll have Konata and Kagami cursing like sailors at each other (although I seriously doubt it!)

I think there are about 8 or 9 of them available over here at the moment (UK)

8 or 9? You sure? :e_wink: If you have more volumes of Ultimate in the UK, I'm movin' there. Yes, I will.  :e_tongue:

But far as I know, only three volumes of Utlimate were available before Geneon USA stopped producing their licensed titles last year. Geneon's new partnership with Funimation should have volume 4 available very soon though.

Are they those little Nendoroid figures, or are they something larger?

well you can guess the green boots and the purple tights are Excel and Hyatt but the bare leg to the left isn't from Excel Saga, it is actually Franky from One Piece heres a picture

interesting note if you look at my previous at Tzukasa's and Kagami's feet you'll see the extra arms that came with them
