The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

Finished Portal. Gosh, it was fun.

Did you get all the radios?
I would dare anyone to say they didn't like that game.

I'm very much looking forward to Portal 2.

Bought the force unleashed again so I could get the hoth downloadable content, nice level, shame there are no achievements for this level.

I dunno. How do you tell, is it an unlockable?

it's an achievement.

There are radio's hidden through out the game, the first one is in the chamber you start in.
What you need to do is take the radio and find the spot where you can receive the radio transmission (the red light will turn green).

Do the same to all the radio's you find and you will get the achievement.

Note: some of the stuff you will hear from the radio's will either be morse code or SSTV (Slow Scan Television - images sent via radio).

Oh ya when you have the radio tuned (light turns green) try throwing it into the field near the elevator (don't worry once it has turn green it is counted toward the achievement)

I don't really try to get achievements.

What do you get? Money? Women? Power?

You get to take part in the mystery.

The community has found a lot stuff in the radio transmissions regarding the upcoming Portal 2

You can see some of the decoded SSTV stream here

You crack me up, Randamo. :il_hahaha:

But yeah, the accumulation of achievements in games generally does very little sometimes IMO. But I guess it depends on the game too. If there was a greater incentive to get achievements in more games perhaps I'd make more of a point in getting them.

braggin rights, got it.
But i suppose it gives more challenge to a game you've already beaten. I however, am a lazy gamer and consider getting the main storyline all that's necessary. That's a side effect from playing too many RPGS with too many bonus games. I learn to just keep looking forward.

I've been playing Xenosaga despite my brain screaming at me to stop. While making fun of it and NOT getting the plot, I rather like some characters. KOS-MOS is prettiness and awesomeness and Allen is the only sane person without a ridiculous character design. Without them, and i guess that UME addict at the start of the game, i woulda dropped this a long time ago.

Fallout: New Vegas.

Fun game in all, pretty much a straight continuation in gameplay and mechanics from FO3, but once again it shows Bethesda/Obsidian does not learn from past mistakes. New Vegas is even glitchier than FO3 before it got all patched up. It's a mess in places, with animation drops, sync issues, timing, false triggers (I love not being able to shoot or reload my gun for no reason...)

It's a mess and shows they rushed it out there. I hope they fix it soon, otherwise it's almost too messy to play.

"In the beginning the Universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

I would agree with that about the new fallout game, and I am even more shocked for a new game I could actually run it on my laptop, it has all the minimal specs to run it probably be slow like fallout 3.  Bought myself fable 3 and star wars the force unleashed 2, I really like the new star wars game (anyone for a game of force throw the storm trooper in ventilation blade)

Bought myself splatterhouse and I most say its the best slice of violence video gaming I have played for a long time
