Drawing
« on: March 31, 2008, 10:08:59 PM »
It seemed like everyone was just creating new threads for their drawings, and I couldn't find a general "post your shit" thread after about 4 seconds of searching, so.... whatever, here ya go. This took me a couple hours or so.

Lain... based on some picture I found on the internet

EDIT: Oh yeah, feel free to post your random pictures here if it's not enough to create a thread for... such as this one.

I think we all just decided to have our own threads, heh.

Nice! Do you not have a scanner or is it really big?

I have a scanner, but.... it... uh.... err... I ... am lazy.

Also, I was taking some other pictures for other purposes and figured I might as well do that one as well.

But mostly the lazy thing.

It's nice  :il_hahaha:

I'd have prefered a scan too though, then it looks much more clear-ish...

My shotty little scanner is in a box in the next room.

I drew another one, so I while I was scanning it I threw in Lain as well. I dislike my scanner, but luckily some quick contrast adjustments made it look more like a drawing than a scribbly extreme solid black/white piece of crap.

Just to put credit where credit is due, this Lain drawing is based off some random picture I found on internet.

And the lovely Al, based on .. yeah... that one sketch of him that looks almost exactly like this if I did my job.

I did some minor adjustments to Al right after I scanned it, and I tried to re-scan it but it stopped working... so that's that.

Very nice!

Ensure that your scanner doesn't make it back into the other room. Contact cement might help. :e_tongue:
Good to have it handy though for future scans.  :e_wink:

Not very happy with this one... it needs to be in color, it doesn't make a good black and white photo. Damn red hair.

By the way, the Elfen Lied image was edited slightly so I edited the post to show the updated photo.
