well here they are
hmm.. They're definately not Nendoroids. Actually, if they are what I think they are they're probably better than Nendoroids. Larger too.

Nice, HA1L! b^_^

Here's another promo vid for the Lucky Star OVA.. (A much better one)

I was impressed with the scene where they seem to be playing in an RPG.

Kagami is cosplaying as Miku Hatsune, a mascot for a singing sythesizer program called Vocaloid made by Yamaha.
The Miku mascot has literally taken otaku-dom by storm in the last few years.

I just watched volume 3 in Japanese, after having viewed it in English a few weeks ago.  Lucky Star never fails to amuse.  I always find it difficult to wait for the next volumes, and end up checking the release dates too often.

At least this special edition came with a shirt that I could actually wear.  The other two...not so much.

I am compelled to raise the volume during the opening.  I have it in my CD player/alarm clock (which doesn't always work, so sometimes I wake up to "Motteke! Sailor-fuku", and other times it's just *beep*beep*beep*, I never know which it will be).  I can't wait until my new phone comes in, so I can use it as a ring-tone.

So what's printed on the t-shirt included in volume 3? O.o Is it worth getting?

I know what you mean about the other two t-shirts. Myself, I'd feel like a sick, SICK bastard to wear those in public. :il_hahaha:

Awesome!  I would freak out if I heard that coming from some random stranger's phone.  I would totally have to point it out.  It would be irresistible...

The volume 3 shirt is their gym/sports festival long sleeved jacket.  It's the only one so far that doesn't look like it's for school-girls.  It would take very specific circumstances to get me to wear the others.

Well, I get the beeps much more often.  I guess that would make the Lucky Star mornings that much more special.  Little things like that help to make me enjoy every day...

[As of 10/01/2008, I now have "Motteke! Sailor-fuku" as a ringtone.  I clipped it to my favorite part of the song, the title lyric, cheer-leader part of the opening credits.  I also have the whole TV length version, from the beginning.]
