So, I guess this is good news right? Always great that Koshi Rikudo is making new work and isn't planning to retire soon. Its called Echo/Zeon and will be running in the new Kodokawa's Young Ace.

Precisely. He is working on enough other new projects since his last couple non-ES ones have ended, and ES is obviously reaching a major climax, so between him having done ES for so long and apparently wanting to move on to other things, it seems likely that Excel Saga will be coming to an end in the not-too-distant future.

Here's a RAW of Chapter 7 that I found. It's the slightest bit NSFW; there's a little fanservice, but nothing worse than what's in the newer volumes of Excel Saga. Certainly nowhere near the level of anything else he's ever done.

I have no idea about the quality of the writing considering I can't read any of it, but it seems to be a bit below the level of Excel Saga. Probably better than fucking Mebius Gear, though.
