The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

I would love to locate "Yakitate!! Japan"  Or "You're Under Arrest: No Mercy!"
Both are great Manga or anime but I can't track them Down...sigh
:kabapu-1:
Thanks E^D Crow, for your kind words! I hope you enjoy(?) it.

Mr Crispy

Been catching up on Spice and Wolf and Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro.

I'm really disappointed with the Neuro anime. You'd think that an anime based on one of the better Jump manga and handled by Madhouse would turn out well, but it added in a lot of terrible filler (despite having more than enough material for a 26 episode season anyway) and the canon cases were butchered beyond recognition (the Monster Robber XI arcs) or had a lot of material and explanations cut (the Electronic Person HAL arc), as well as rearranging the sequence of events for no good reason and cutting  a lot of weirdness/Yako abuse/777 Tools of the Demon World which is what makes the manga entertaining to begin with.

Was sick, watched "Full Metal Panic 2nd Raid #1-4" It is worth the purchase, good storyline, a bit fanservy at times. Good villains and the extra OVA on disc 4 is worth the purchase.  :ehail:

ElricJC

That was a really good series, I'm waiting for a box set, last time I checked it was still only available in individual discs.

I recently re-watched Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi - another great series, wacky like Excel Saga was, but with an actual storyline.  See, crazy and plot can go together.

"In the beginning the Universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

Recntly watched the first 4 episodes of haruhi ( I aint bothering with the rest of the title) very witty, funny and enjoyable

How is that? (How does it compare to the OVA?)

exckilla

doesn't compare very well, I didn't like it much and thought it was bit slow and the should have left read or die as a 3 part ova.

Back to watching classic anime again, in other words akira, project a-ko and urotsukidoji 1 and 2.

Necrominion

Its more of a matter of taste.  Albeit the OVA is much faster, and since i enjoyed the manga i am enjoying the series.

exckilla

Thats a good classic, own it myself, but only ever watch it on a weekend.

Squirrellord

I'm watching Sketchbook Full Colors. Hilarious anime.
It takes a couple of episodes to grow on you, but it's great.
Kuma is, perhaps, the most awesome cat ever to grace the world.

Rika-chama

I'm still watching Kaiji and I must say it's very good. Full of manly tears and mullet power  :il_hahaha:

Also watching the new Kyo Kara Maoh OVA which I've been waiting for forever  :ehail:

Also gonna start Rozen Maiden Traeumend again since Geneon went out and I can't buy the rest of it.
