The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

Four words. I. LOVE. this. series!

It's like FLCL with more giant robot fights! I love how the series seems to feel the need to outdo itself with every fight scene. Now if only the fansub group I watch would sub the series faster (I'm only on ep 17 ;_;)
All these college professors teaching classes about Shakespeare, who was the 16th-century equivalent of a director of summer-blockbusters, makes me wonder if 500 years from now we'll have college courses on the subtle nuances of Michael Bay movies.

Even Better News ADV is bringing it to us, starting in February, Dub and Everything! GIGA DRILL BREAKER. Sorry had to do that

I'm pretty sure the group you're watching stopped at 17. You're gonna have to switch if you want to continue, or support ADV and buy it.

Btw, you think you've seen epic? You haven't seen anything yet... just wait.

Most epic anime ever made

I stopped there anyway.  Didn't really like the series at all, to be honest, I'm surprised I made it that far. >_<

If ignorance is bliss, why aren't many people happy?

Ah, yeah, ADV lost the licensing to the show, and now Bandi has it. Could be a good thing, considering how HORRIFIC the ADV dub was, at least from the previews I saw. And the movie comes out this September!

R Kenshin

i heart adv dubs. They give us the cheapest anime out there with their promise to always box set everything that they do. ( I cannot think of anything they haven't box setted in a year period)

El Tigre and I have been watching it on the Sci-Fi channel once a week. We're up to episode 8 I believe. It's a freakin amazing show thus far.

Lan

Its a great fast paced show. Loving it.

Only seen about five episodes, but it's been a fun watch so far. The style of animation remindes me somewhat of Dead Leaves.

Thought it was the damned funniest thing when Kamina and Simon first tried (seemingly impossibly) merging the head unit with the larger body to create a more superior robot. And the fact that it actually worked was a jaw-dropper for me. That was great![/Spoiler warning]

I've seen it all, and I'm still torn... I think I liked the start, then it took one sudden turn, and I stayed on, then it took another turn and got REALLY fucked up, and then... well, yeah, it got so extreme and kinda cheesy.  In the end though I can award it high points for creativity, but it's so all over the place and odd.  I enjoyed it well enough, but I wouldn't buy it, and I don't think I would even rewatch it again, but I didn't hate it.

"In the beginning the Universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

I've been watching it as it airs on the sci-fi channel. Absolutely loving it so far. Totally zany stuff. :il_hahaha:

Not sure if this has been posted before, but it's awesome enough that it bares repeating.

I love that video so much. I like it better than the actual Mulan one.
