Mugen
« on: October 25, 2007, 08:21:14 PM »
Mugen is a fighter style game that can be downloaded online and played, but the greatest part of it is the characters are almost infinated. Meaning people have designed and upload characters that we all can download and fight against.

Heres some vids of Mugen

Haruhi Vs. FF7 Tifa
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jULP_Fv8qaI

Haruhi Vs. Homer Simpson
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxwyu4QyPR0

Nagato vs. Many people in a funny video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUq3Ihewyj4

There are hundreds of dif characters, anyone play this game or now how to download and get characters and stuff?

That was hilarious, but I'm paranoid about downloading anything off the net anymore so unless I knew this was safe I'd give it a miss.  Although I am curious how they designed the characters and if it would be possible for a novice to do without tons of programming know how.

I removed my posts about downloading and crap.  Mugen fucking killed my speakers.  They don't work anymore and make a loud popping sound when you turn them on.

I guess ElricJC was right about not downloading anything.

Well, my sound still works, but now I have to use my headset to hear anything, and I much prefer to listen through my more convenient speakers.

I've seen a tutorial on YouTube that shows how to make it full screen.

I take it you didn't get the sound fix from MugenGuild.  It prevents that from happening and also fixes in game audio problems.

No, I got that.  It fixed the in-game audio problems, but my speakers still got raped to death. :(

Eh, it's fine.  I can probably find some cheap new ones at Office Depot or something.
