I just bought the 4th box set of Haruhi, and I didnt realize until I got it that it only has the last 3 chronilogical episodes (in either english or jp) and the last 4 ep in their airing order (jp only). Gay now I have to buy the other 3 box sets... and this one alone was $40 ;;

Life-changing...unless you don't like that sort of thing.

It's best to just watch it.  I know that many of my friends, except maybe one or two, would not be able to get into it.  The existential quandaries that are raised are deep and profound, while still succeeding at being a lightheartedly funny and mysterious story.  It's like trying to explain to someone 'What is god?'.

Its just that I have seen a lot of reviews on this haruhi anime, since I buy newtype usa, unfortunately in my country it takes to bloody long for decent anime to be released and in most cases not at all.
