The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

Im about to re-read the Devenchi Code (most for a class) and 1984. I am also working on creating my own original piece of literature. I want to post what I have so far in my creativity topic but I dont know how outside posting it line for line (and that would take hundreds of post to do ;;)

I have to find a time in the near future to go back and restore the world.

I got and finished Making Money yesterday. Now I'm on to Monstrous Regiment. Both are by Terry Pratchett.

Monstrous regiment is possibly the worst book in the discworld series. I won't spoil it, but i'll say that it becomes more and more contrived as it goes on, especially the big reveals at the end. There are some good scenes once Vimes shows up though
For the last, time, it's a panda...

Haven't read Monstrous Regiment but I also found Equal Rites very dull, but other than that I've never been displeased with a Pratchett novel.  Some are definitely better than others, and I'm a big fan of Rincewind.  Interesting Timesis perhaps my favorite of the Discworld series.  The last Disc book I read was Thud, which was pretty good.

"In the beginning the Universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

Inkwolf

I quite like the Tiffany Aching ones, but also anything with Death in it prominently...I remember Soul Music being especially fun, and Reaper Man.

Reading the Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne for AP Lit. It's really interesting, there's so much symbolism & imagery (are those the same? o_o).

dont eat this book - by morgan spurlock(that guy who made super size me). im sorta shocked about food in america - cause we dont have that many corporate farms. yet.

I simply cannot get enough of Thomas Harris.  I've blazed through both Red Dragon and Black Sunday, and plan to read Silence of the Lambs soon.  Do any fans of his know, did he write any books that aren't related to Hannibal Lecter (besides Black Sunday)?

Necrominion

It is, full of subtle humour...reminiscent of Tom Holt

Randamo

what's the series about?

im reading 'miss smithers' by susan juby. good stuff. better than tweeny and teeny rubbish that passes for literature these days.

Randamo

yeah, i heard about the television show, but i have serious doubts as to whether i'll ever, ever see it. it would take a while even if it came out on dvd. great book series. the end was slightly fuzzy. made me want more. did she end up with that...?
