I picked up a Gameboy Advance at a swap meet!

Can anyone recommend some really good games? I'm interested especially in RPGs, and maybe something anime-based or with anime-style art, maybe a dating game a la Ilpalazzo's.  :lordilvryannoyed:

I pretty much suck at any game requiring speed, good eyesight, and a high degree of coordination, though....

Well, let's see... the fire Emblem games are some of my favorite strategy RPGs, and (More) Friends of Mineral Town is one of the best Harvest Moons ever, and there are ports for Final Fantasy IV and VI, and I enjoyed the GBA Pokemon games a lot, though I can't go back now that I've played the DS version.

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow

I've actually sorta got this one, since it's been sitting in the Lost And Found at work for about a year.  :im_nabeshin:

Thanks, everyone, those sound like some good titles!  I'll make a list before I go to the used game store.

Dropped by Mega Media Exchange today, and I found Golden Sun, Sword of Mana and Return of the King! :D Now to figure out how to play without manuals.  Also made the error of picking up Fellowship of the Rings because it was relatively cheap...for good reason, apparently  Cludgy...

What exactly do you mean by strategy RPGs?  Is it like Age of Empires, where you have to gather resources and things to build up an army?  Or a tactical war game sort of thing?

Tactical war games, like Advance Wars or Shining Force or Disgaea kind of!

Her Excellency The Pink Bunny

I like Wario Ware but that needs high coordination.
My sister likes Boktai a lot, but you have to use the sun sensor.
I play mine mostly for Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Wario Ware Twisted. Twisted is a great a motion sensor game but needs very high corrdination.

We have all these Moderators, but none of them have put this thread in the correct section?

While I do agree that the DS and PSP are a lot better than the GBA, the GBA still has a very nice list of games

As stated before the Fire Emblem series is a rather fun Tactical RPG
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance seems to be fun, I've never played, but one of my friends say that it no where near the greatness of the original...I've also never played that.
All of the original Final Fantasy games (besides the real 3, that ones on the DS) have been remade for the GBA
Golden Sun is also another fun RPG that you may be interested in
I'm a fan of the Zelda games, but never listen to me about Zelda, as I'm always biased about it
The Super Mario games and the Sonic games are also pretty fun, just good old classic Super Mario, and good old classic Sonic the Hedgehog.
And of course theres Pokemon, thats always good.

OH, and just in case you didn't know, the DS plays GBA games as well, unfortunately it does not play original Game Boy or Game Boy Color games, which is why it's a good idea to keep you're GBA.

I hope you got both Golden Suns.
Mario & Luigi was fun too.
Why don't you just eat peanuts with your eyes and spaghetti through your nose you offense to God!

Sonic Advance 3. Its so good, even I cant get it! Ive been after it for years! Its problem is that nobody wants to trade it in! GAH!
