Keep your copies of September's Young King Ours if you have them - Rikdo reworked the ending chapter for the 27th tankobon. 

[spoiler]Less chaotic, more sentimental, IMO.  Adds the Leiji Matsumoto Parody characters for a brief cameo, gives Watanabe a much happier ending, and has a "I drew this for you, Uncreativity" final page.  And no, the volume does not include either of the 'hot spring' epilogues.

But yes, it still has that Shiouji ending.  WTF.[/spoiler]

No heavy spoilers please, but... how different are we talking here? Like, is nothing the same (not even the art), or were just a few scenes changed into something else? Oh yeah, and which ending is better/more satisfying/more fitting/whatever?

[spoiler]Most of it is roughly the same, up until Kabapu and Momochi's 'epilogue' scene'.  It them gives Watanabe, Elgala and Hyatt a rewrite, and adds Mr. Owner and Ms. Manager in a cameo.  It also adds a scene with Excel, Il Palazzo and Tenmangu (I think, don't read Japanese, so going by pictures.)  Then we get Shiouji and Umi's scene as it was in the magazine, only Menchi is now with Umi.  The final shot is what you see in Uncreativity's post above - the last "Excel Saga... in... SPAAAAACE!" scene is totally gone.

As I said, I dunno about good or bad, especially since I can't read it.  It does give off a feel of "more of a happy ending".[/spoiler]
