 must get hold of Kaname and Tessa. I will do almost anything for those models. isn't there ones of kaname and tessa in bikinis?
Skimming over a few sites and some ebay listings, I did manage to find a few, but the quality was very poor; Bad faces and overall cheap looking. But the worst I've seen was Tessa and Kaname with bath towels.. *shudders* They look exactly like mini mannequines with the joints stuck together. >_O Ick!
Don't take my word for it. See for yourself.

The ones on Bome's site, I believe, are truly superior and are all now currently available on ebay.

I have three of the Bome figures (Aya Natsume, Maya Natsume, and Ignis) and I plan on getting the Kiddy Grade and Full Metal Panic ones sometime soon.

Bome = Great
I brought home Aya from Anime North last year and got a super deal combined with gothic lolita Asuka. I'd like to get Maya someday as well.

And Ignis is a sight to behold. Incredible. O_O You have good tastes!
I've recently seen a nice alter version of her as well in a nice fighting stance.

The ES figures are very well-detailed, as is the Ropponmatsu II. (I saw two of the gold ones there, too...but ergh, the white's translucent. Besides, I've already got a blue one.) Quite a good buy. $30 for the set -- same as I was going to pay online and no shipping! :D

Whaa...  shipping issues is the main reason i'm not getting one yet...
Unless i find it exceptionally cheap  :o

^Be sure not to wait too long, Micki! Little by little, availability is decreasing and the prices seem to be going up.

It's just hard to find ANYWHERE to buy it from...
Especially because i live in Europe... Anything from the US is bound to have sky-high shipping prices...

There's one on a Danish Manga-merchandise Website though (i requested it there to teh guy who runs the place, because it's so cool)
Maybe, if the price is similar to anywhere else in comparison (except for that evil shipping) i might buy it...

I need a Ropponmatsu figurine... It's too awesome not to have
Wish there were one with Shioji, to make it Complete :D

[EDIT:]
Danish Website i takled about... and this is the page with the available Excel Saga stuff they have...
http://gashapon.dk/default.asp?page=goods&type=all&subpage=Excel%20Saga

400DKK is about 72-73 US Dollars (it's the blue one i'm refering to)

^I'll see if I can help you out.

hmm.. The best price I've seen on ebay today for the complete set of six mini figures is $29.99 US.
Shipping is $20 US...
Total = 49.99 US or 274.140 DKK which is not tooo bad...

Nishiki Ropponmatsu Excel Saga PVC Figure (Blue)
$19.99 US. (That price amazed me!)
Shipping is $16.99 US
Shipping insurance 1.00
Total = 37.98 or 208.268 DKK

These sellers do ship to Denmark and the shipping prices quoted reflect that. ^^

This is for Ropponmatsu...

And this is for the set of six mini figures...

Both seem to be reputable sellers.. Good percentage of positive feedback.
Good luck! ^^

heh.. My mother used to torment me (in a good way, but I hated it >_<) for stuff like this.

The best thing to do is desensitize them to such things gradually by slowly increasing your collection. Eventually, it'll get to the point where they won't bother to say much of anything. :evilex:

I do have to wonder how my ex-girlfriend would react about the small collection I have happening now. I've a feeling she'd try to steal 'em big time.. NEVAH~!!!! MINE!!!11!

So, i ordered that Nishiki figure today...

I looked through eBay, and found several other similar versions afterwards... some even cheaper...
but are they perhaps different in some way..?

I noticed this thingy the figure is standing on, differs on several pictures i've seen of it...
The one i ordered (Lord Il's link) had this round "foot"... others had a triangle  shaped one instead...

I don't know...

Was this a good choice..? or should i have picked one of the others..? :? (dunno if it's too late anyways)

You found cheaper listings still? I'm floored. O_O
Then again, you've gotten a pretty good deal on that one just the same.

I wouldn't worry too much. Sometimes only early preliminary photos are used which can be deceiving as to what you'll get.
Here's the base they have her displayed on at the actual Yamato Toys website...
http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=836
Does it look familiar with that ebay listing's photo?

If you'll notice on the same site, Ropponmatsu (white with gold/silver) is shown standing on the plastic triangular base.
... And on Rikdo's site, she's shown standing on the plastic blue triangular base...
http://www.rikudoukan.com/2th.html

I've a feeling that you'll receive the plastic blue base. I can't say for certain either. :?

Also, the link I showed you with the set of six Excel Saga figures are shown with different bases as well - They all appear to be free standing. However, this is not the case. They're only displayed that way to possibly enhance their appearance. When you do eventually get them, they will come with cheaper semi-clear plastic bases and plastic rods which you attach to the figures to make them stand up.

Something else about the rounded brown base Ropponmatsu is shown with: When I ordered my Saber figure last year, she was also shown standing on a base which looks identical to that one. Instead, the base which is used for the end product is a simple black plastic base. The important thing is that Saber is precisely the same!

So yeah, I do wish that the photos used for advertising figures were updated accordingly to reflect the end product more. It would make things far less confusing for the consumer.

Thanks for telling...

Well, the lowest price i found, was just 5$ diference i believe...
i don't care, at least it was still cheap...

And it's good all should be identical... This base, has this amusing Shiojis note on it... i'd like to have that :D and the brown one didn't seem to have it

I'll post pictures of it when it arrives :)

The base I have is triangular, and she likes to fall down a lot. 9_9 (My Mimete plush keychain fell off my speaker as I typed that...weird coincidence, eh?)
I remember once writing something about my ES mini figure set when I first got them and Hyatt somehow managed to fall out of her stand and onto the floor. How strangely appropriate that was. lol!

Ugh.. I've had two incidents with Saber falling off her stand. >_< I'm more careful now to hold both the figure and the base when having to move it or dust it off. Especially when using compressed air in a can for cleaning it (It works great!)
