The least-anticipated revival since Fuller House is finally here! Against all odds, the Excel
Saga Forum is back with its original domain name intact. Read the announcement thread for
more details, or check out the Resources section for help finding copies of both the manga and
anime. And don't forget to join our newfangled Discord if that's the kind of thing you're into!

Yes they do, I must admit it. Although the book which covers the first game doesn't quite hit it.  I think it was due to the fact you knew what was going to happen well before you read it.

That's why I am more interested in reading the Halo books that didn't have anything to do with the games themselves, but the more backstory ones.  I generally don't expect much from books like those (like the Magic the Gathering books, which are almost always bloody awful), but my friends declare that "even I will like them."  I'm a harsh critic on most things :P.

I've been re-reading some of the Holmes books recently.
"He kept a shop in London Town
Of fancy clients and good renown
And what if none of their souls were saved
They went to their maker impeccably shaved
By Sweeney
By Sweeney Todd
The Demon Barber of Fleet Street"

"The Ballad of Sweeney Todd"

I just reread the original MYTH Series by Robert Aspirin. Not as fun the second time around.

I loved the MYTH series, but it doesn't age well, I tried rereading MYTH Inc. in action, but it just wasn't what I remembered.

Sorry, I am a bit of a boring old sod, I enjoy reading about the old disused and abandoned railways of the united kingdom

Currently reading my SIGNED copy of Anthony Horowitz' Snakehead.

I think the problem wis that at the begining it was Skeeve and Aahz doing funny "Road to.." like stuff. But as the series progressed and the cast got bigger, it became a lot less about those two getting out of situations by talking and more about Skeeve being an idiot.

Also a liked Tananda more than Bunny.

Yeah, the whole flow got kind of old pretty fast, and the entertaining escapades became tiresome and rather juvenile as it became more about "watch Skeeve be a completely clueless moron."

Also, I second the Tananda > Bunny comment :).

No, it's a humorous fantasy series by Robert Aspirin.  The titles are all puns, like "Little MYTH Marker" and "Hit or MYTH."

There are books based on Myst. I haven't read them though.

oh, it's myst? okay.
i am reading wodehouse's jeeves and wooster, finishing it.

Mullon

No no no, you misunderstand. There's the MythAdventures Series by Robert Aspirin (R.I.P.) and the series of books based on the unrelated game Myst. We were talking about the former.

Wow, I didn't even know Robert Aspirin was dead :(.

Right now I am reading two books, Parable of the Talents by Octavia E. Butler, and Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.  Again.
